Is there any software that is good at helping traders with pure intra day trading strategies (better yet - tick to tick trading)?? Scalping perhaps?

Looks like Stock Watch Pro ( http://www.crontech.com/swp ) would be the right tool for your needs. I use quite a number of strategies based on ticks.

DatTrader is right -- SL4 may be exactly what you're looking for. Don't know why he couldn't get a demo, though. Maybe it was a fluke or something. For more info on it , you can go to:
