Interview preparation

I'm planning on joining a prop firm at the end of this year. Started researching/planning last February. I would suggest learning more about prop firms before you interview. ET excellent place to learn a lot. Spend some time reading threads in the forum, especially the prop firm thread. I've learned a lot from doing this. Also, appears there are a lot of prop shops out there, so do some due diligence on the firm you are interviewing with, may be better choices out there for you.

Hey mizer, it is a job interview not NBA Draft Night. Unless of course by trading he means trading hoes for some pimp. Better to come dressed in sweats with a $5000 check taped to your forehead.

lol.

Hello guys,

I have an interview with a prop trading firm in the next week, and ive just signed up to this forum to see if any one has any tips for me. I really really want the job. Help pleeease!!

know (or have some background) on the greek letters (vegas, delta, theta...), black scholes, and option pricing models. All the prop firms that traded in the pits (s&p futures/options, and eurodollars) that i interviewed at where really impressed and asked if i had some background with em. All the spread and option trading props base there models on the greeks.
