Internet Explorer 7?

Quote from kinar:

my personal feeling is that the fact that it is a separate piece of software is not a "benefit".

Why download more software when what you get in windows always works and requires no extra effort to install?
Because when you need to optimize your system, as you might want being a trader, it is almost impossible to discern the different interactions between IE and your OS. Unexpected things happen and expected ones don't.
Stuff from Microsoft never works lean and mean nor clean. Install Office and your whole system setup has changed. Try installing drivers for Microsoft mouse or keyboard and you might have to rollback a system restore.
It's bloated and it's bad quality. FF is sold by technicians, IE is built by salespeople.

Don't forget to add..."in your oppinion".

Personally, my opinnion is that IE > FF. My reasoning is that it "just works" plain and simple. You never find a site that doesn't work in IE (which wasn't designed to not work in IE).

In my oppinion,
whatever site doesn't work in FF it doesn't exist.
Plain and simple.
