Hey guys, I basically am looking for two things.

1) Looking to convert my USD to a foreign currency.

2) Looking to trade options on foreign stock index futures.

IB offers this but am having doubts about them. Any other options out there?
 
PM me if you would like to trade Brazilian stock equities or futures. The Real appreciated 15% against the USD in the last month or so.

I looked into opening a brokerage acct in Brazil 2-3 years ago but was told I needed bank account in Brasil, and have some # from Brasil IRS, etc, etc.

So, I needed to open a Brasil bank acct, then have...

- RNE - Registro Nacional de Estrangeiros
- CPF - Cadastro de Pessoas Físicas

What sort of roadblocks are there now, or have they been removed for foreigners?

Risk, send me a pm or post here

- how much you want to invest,
- how many trades you intend to do,
- whether you are a biz or an individual,
- what you want to trade (equities, futures, options, etc)

Then, I'll be able to give you a better idea of what you need to do.
