This generally holds true. Other people can only guide you toward the research, but the realities and probability mindset need to develop, which doesn't happen overnight, and in most cases never happens since many lose their stake too fast.

An experienced trader knows this and wouldn't bother wasting time trying to mold someone unless they are close in relationship.
