I think that Frankfurt time is wrong BTW. Should be an hour before London.

An hour ahead, right? So 0900 in London is 1000 in Frankfurt. I think it's correct.

Would be quite cool to get a spare flat screen monitor and have this displaying on the wall 24/7. Would have to persuade Mrs GAT that we could have a few less pictures of the kids on the wall.

Yeah Germany is an hour ahead - but what I mean is German markets open an hour before London to my knowledge. So the bottom clock which has a bezel for Frankfurt at 0700UTC should be 0600UTC.

I guess the lesson is it's probably best to check rather than trust a 3rd party website. Different for futures and equities anyway.

Nope, London opens at the same time as the western european markets, ie 8am in London, but 9am in Frankfurt, Paris or Madrid.
Talking about stock markets though, I think the Dax futures open at 8am Frankfurt time, and have no idea about UK futures.

Yep, sorry I was thinking EUREX which is 0800 Frankfurt time. FTSE100/Z futures also open then as well but things don't pick up until London open.

Come to think of it there might be a small window of time during DST switchover where Germany is offset from London but it shouldn't last more than a week.
 
I don't trade wellington and usually pick up Sydney one hour into the session..so that means I got four hours to sleep each night ...its true I can see right there :)
