interesting IQ test...different

OK, thanks Max...I tried to save it in an older format, but I got a message that it would not be compatible. I have Office 2003...any suggestions on how to work around this??

I think you may have to have some form of Excel on the machine because the spreadsheet wants to automate the scoring function. Perhaps try a "Save As" a "Web Page." Don't know if it will still tally though.

are you 2 actually helping each other? :)
Well, if ol' RS7 was laying injured on the side of the road, I'd help him (after the applicable liability waiver was signed, of course).

Max, did not see that option on "save as" under "file"...

I did see something like "Office 97" which would be more universally accessible. But there was a dash. Something like "97-2003"...anyway, I tried it and hope it works for more people than the 2003 version which I know is not yet widely held.

And thanks for the kind thoughts about helping me if I were lying in the road.

Peace,

I don't think I'm that bright - but I'm stuck at 24 correct answers....is this thing for real?

Where did you get this test from? Maybe I have a hidden genius that I didn't know about!! haha :)

24? That really is amazing if you are being straight with us.

I have a few answers I am as positive as I can be about that the thing says I have wrong.

I will give one example though. #29 I have "64 squares on a chess board" ..It fits perfectly, but the thing says I am wrong. :( :( :( How can that be wrong? (and yeah, I tried "checker board" instead, and it was still wrong). And even if they are looking for a different answer, then the test is flawed. Because my answer is not wrong...just not "right" according to whoever devised the test.

I would be interested in seeing what others come up with. Need to give it a little time first.

And of course let Mr.Subliminal have the chance to get ALL the answers before any discussion is made "public"..

Peace,

Here is the test for those who cannot open it with Excel.

I don't have all the answers. It just tells you if you are right or wrong.

You have to work out what the letters mean. See No 0 as an example.
According to MENSA, if you get 19 + of these, you are a "genius".
Only 2 MENSA members achieved full marks. See how well you do.
Scoring:1 to 5 is Average, 6 - 11 Somewhat Intelligent, 12 to 18 Intelligent, 19 + Genius

That's hard but there are a lot more than 64. Count them in groups of four, then in overlapping groups of nine, etc.

Yes, you are right. But the thing says "no cryptic answers". And I tried "spaces" rather than "squares" and still, it said I was wrong.

However, I feel vindicated on number 13. I was so proud of myself for getting that one, and then it said I was wrong. But it turned out I had just misspelled a word. Had me going though.

Peace,

That was one I did not have.....you are correct. I typed in 64 squares on a chess board and it worked.

I am being honest by the way....am happy to post the answers to the 24 I have...should I wait for others to have a go? Maybe pm me and I'll send the ones I have! :)

Where did the test come from?
