There is a movie. Something Wall St. It's actually very interesting. Talks about why they call em the bears and bulls, etc.

I am currently reading a book on Wall Street History which would be an excellent companion to the pbs series. It is called Every Man a Speculator, A History of Wall Street in American Life by Steve Fraser.

It is an enjoyable read.
