Interested in trading again

I am not to pleased with the outcome of my trading thus far.

I have lost 1,300 of my intial 3000.

It has been a rough month with nearly every position I held going against me.

One nice thing that I have noticed is that the loss is not affecting me as losses have in the past. I am risking my own money, and only risking what I can afford to lose. I am still working a full time job.
 
I just bought some MER and GS calls. I am looking for an intraday move that might work into tomorrow as well.

I also bought some Aug 20 calls in CD.


on my radar entries for longer term I have: MCD down, SYMC up, KO up

Dont have the capital for those yet, need to wait till I get out of some stuff.


Other stuff I'm holding: DIS puts, LLTC calls (gotta get out of this one, small range).

My account capital is at 1600, down 1400 from start.

I'm holding calls in GM, CD, PCAR for the long term (few months)

I had one PDT violation this last month.

I will watch it now, and be sure to not close anytrades same day.
 
Today was a good day for me.

GM up good, made 100% on calls. Still holding some (July exp)

Also had profits from MO and XOM.

Account up to 2100 today.
 
Account got whacked again :(

I am looking at getting some short deltas on:

ARS
NOK
UTX

I am also looking to buy NEOL under 6.10, but it is running away from me.
 
Well, I continue to get whacked. My account is at $750

I had a good run on NEOL calls with gains of 150% and DRYS calls with gains of 500% but everything else has been dragging me down.

I was long to many puts at the lows and this recent pop in the indexes followed by the market not doing anything has bled those puts dry.

I sold almost everything to focus on a few main stocks.

GRMN
I bought Jul 80 puts today for .19

OMX
I have Aug 35 puts for .78

With my long option only strategy, July expiration is especially important for me as it will become increasingly more difficult to come back from further drawdowns.

My original starting balance was 3k. I have lost about 75%.

I am counting on GRMN and OMX to deliver at least 300% gains
 
at expiration, my account was at 290.00 I continue to plod on.

I bought calls on Monday as I see short term up.

I have LEH, CMED, GS, S, and a few others. They are up good and I sold a little on friday.

Acct currently at 440.00

I am trading only 1 pattern, and i am figuring out its nuances.

While 3k to start a trading acct is quite small, I think that if I keep studying and trading this same pattern and figuring out all the nuances, then I will eventually succeed.

The pattern I speak of is the consolidation at the extreme of a trend which has potential to breakout in the opposite direction, thus changing the trend. These look like rounded bottoms.
 
looks like u tradin' much more than 1 contract. with what u got left that's not the safest way to preserve your capital...but i guess u know that innit.
 
Well expiration has come and gone.

My account is at $403.07

So, mid- month (my months are from expiration to expiration) my account was as high as $550 and last expiration it was at $290.

Overall it was a satisfying trading month.

Recently I had calls in RIMM, KBH, JOYG. Some duds were PALM PWAV .




I am currently long calls in LSI, NDAQ (still), and EXP.
