Unchecked everything in setting but am still getting a loud market opening and closing bell. How do I turn it off? TIA.
You sure you are hearing that from IB? I have used IB for years and have never heard any opening or closing bells. I've heard it from TOS though.
To my knowledge, the opening bell is usually rung at 9:30 am and the closing is at about 4 pm. Do make sure whether they have an opening or closing bell first. Some brokers don’t have that and I think that’s okay. I haven’t traded with them so I have no clue, I’m using Oanda and Fxview these days. Decent platforms, I’d say.
