Said in another way, our unlimited free version allows you to simulate your trades. If you want to place trades in your brokerage account you must purchase a license to unlock this feature.
 
Great, thank you for the reply. A Ninjatrader staff member told me on the phone that I could not trade futures with ninjatrader using IBKR as my broker. Is that correct? Seems that would defeat the purpose since this is why it was originally made.
 
That is incorrect. You can trade futures with NinjaTrader and Interactive Brokers. Can you kindly PM me with the name of the person you spoke to so I can make sure that this they have the correct information?
