Interactive Brokers poll to add CDN warrants

If you have been wishing for the option to trade Canadian warrants with your IB account now is your chance to show support for such a feature:

Interactive Brokers has started an area for New Features polls. Many precious metals investors are interested in trading warrants of Canadian stocks. In addition Canadian investors with IB accounts may be interested in having RRSP or RESP accounts available.

If you have an IB account and these issues are of interest to you, please consider registering to vote and showing your support for the three polls that respectively cover warrants, RRSPs, and RESPs.

To register to vote login to Account Management and go to User Mangement -> Voting Subscription.

The default is for polls to be listed by rating: the warrants and RRSP polls are on the first page, quite close to the top. The RESP poll is harder to find. Sort the polls by date added and find the poll under 9-18 at 16:25. A rating of '5' gives the strongest endorsement.

vote for the rrsp's! Most of my cash is locked up right now, and I'd like to move my rrsp's to ib if they had the capability... nice low commissions...

One success from the polls is that IB has promised to introduce trading in Australian stocks, a positive move for resource investors. This will give access to some cheap, but good quality gold stocks.

Please consider voting for Canadian warrant trading and RRSP accounts. Both polls are going well, but the more votes the better.
