UPDATE
Funds were returned to account, after about an hour, from when I first noticed it missing. Still no explanation, nor apology.

This is "classic" IB. I remember my last Mutual Fund trade liquidation resulted in a nasty-gram from IB indicating I didn't have the authorization for the trade. However, it did happen.....when I called them to ask them why I got the message, they had no clue !!!
It obviously was a bug.

Agree. And all the nonsense from most of the would-be traders, is the reason I'm rarely on the site. Good time to retire my membership.

That isn't what he's saying. He's saying this guy is throwing around big swinging dick comments around at an anonymous forum. If he's that large and in charge, he would be taking this to an attorney or a broker or somebody else not asking for advice from a bunch of strangers, most of whom probably don't even trade.

I brought it up early on in this thread that this guy is acting all high and mighty and something didn't smell right.

I was on another site when there were arguments like this arose and it was settled by the mods logging into people's accounts and they checked everything off.

We should do that here
