Hmm, are taking funds from an etrade brokerage or bank account? Bank Account within a day or two you can verify the small deposits and set up an link between the account. You can't link two brokerage accounts. Depending if its a new account and the amount, I would wire the funds otherwise there will be a hold on the funds, for a couple days.
