For what purposes you plan to use the data?
About ibkr historical data I like them having bid-ask hi lo bars.

If it is only 5 USD/month I would suggest that you sign up for it on June 1st. That would give you one month time to experiment with it and see for yourself.
 
if you compare with exchanges from other countries,
this is really cheap. further those financial products have great volume.

very good for those who just started trading as
you don't want to pay say $120 / month for ICE exchange data
 
Out of topic but does someone have data collection of <10min IBKR historical hi-lo bid-ask bars or tick data from earlyer years than 5 years back?
