Interactive Brokers customer support totally broken

Has anyone gotten through to these fukkers in the last week?

They refuse to pick up the phone , permanent hold . saying 1 minute to go.
 
Depending on where you live and the amount of assets that you control, this is something that should be looked into. I have 2 ISPs myself plus mobile phone internet but haven't considered power back up.

2 ISPs won't do any good if you lose power. Mobile phone internet can go down in the event of severe hurricane / torando / earthquake. Many cell towers do have generator backup, but not all. Satellite internet would be the safest backup in the event of power loss and natural disaster. Also, for those who absolutely have to log in and manage positions on a daily basis, one should consider having a backup in case of medical emergency / falling piano accident or if one is unpredictably taken hostage and cannot access their account(s) for an extended period of time.

Very true....but my power is on today...however my main ISP has a fault and will not be resolved for another 9 hours! (Virgin Media are crap). So the back up ISP is in use.
