(2) Please post suggestions for Trader Workstation charting improvements. In a few days we will compile suggestions into a new poll to help guide chart improvement prioritization.
Spend the money on:

Latency

Stability

Better data - real-time and historical.

Don't spend the money on silly TA charting features for low value accounts.

if it wasn't for my piddly ass small "low value account" and a lot of others like me, you'd be bitching about your commissions instead of your charts

Maybe, but I wouldn't be paying for a help desk then. :p

no, I'd be paying for them to be standing by waiting to answer the phone to make sure you are still happy

TD Ameritrade has just sat on it and isn't making further updates to it. I guess it will last until its so out of date that nothing works any longer. Nevertheless, its the best "integrated" trading platform I've ever used....clearly designed by a "trader", not just a group of programmers who don't really use it.

Please advise Status / Update on IB Charting improvements, or has this project been dismissed? Been 4-months and no follow up on your part.

Thank you

I don't know, but I finally figured out how to set up overlay charts on my forex pairs which is helpful to me.

I hope they don't come up with something that is too complicated for me.

I don't really need the charts, but they make it easy to follow if I don't want to eat on my computer, and set my laptop up a few feet away, or at night when I am sleeping, I can set them up next to the alarm clock.

I certainly don't use IB charts. I was thinking maybe there was some great piece of the setup that I'm missing. I would try to get a chart of a certain index or underlying and just do something simple...like a month or something...I couldn't do it. I've never had another issue with any other charting package, but I thought maybe it was just me. Maybe not.
