Interactive Brokers - chain Orders in a row

Hi,

I want to attach multiple orders to a stock, but every order should only become
active, after the previous one ist executed. Example:

Order 1 (active)
Order 2 (becomes active after Order 1 is executed)
Order 3 (becomes active after Order 2 is executed)
... and so on

Is this possible in the Trader Workstation from IB?

I think you're asking about bracket orders.

I think you may have to wait until the first order fills, at least in part, before you can attach the 2nd bracket order to the first bracket order.

I think you're asking about bracket orders.

It is a conditional order but not a bracket order. I would call it a OTO-Order Triggers Order. I'm not sure if IB can do that without automation and an API, if you need multiple OTOs.

My guess is that this is not possible with TWS. But it is well possible if you write your own software and use the API.
