Hi,
I am a newbie in Forex Trading. I tried to enter an order to buy EUR/USD 25,000 but IB did not allow me to trade saying
"No IDEALPRO trading permissions". I use only the paper account which has $26K. And they said I should have 1:50 leverage, right?
If so, why can't I even place an order of $25K???

Most likely because you have no Trading Permission for IdealPro:

Log in to Account Management, go to "Trading Access" and there you have to configure what Market Data you subscribe to and what Markets you want to trade.

lol Thanks, yeh I had to check on IB FOREX and get permissions.
