They are just text log files of your actions within TWS, a different file for each day of the week. One of the files was 7gb and it ran faster without having to open this large file. Yes, find the files with windows explorer.
I presume you are talking about "restore settings " files which are useful if we lose pages etc. Question is how many are saved . I thought it was just 5 days. If so , then I would not delete any.
If IB would think to use a value of -1 for the first print after the server reset that would allow it to be automatically scrubbed out by API (Sierra already does this). As it is, random 1 or 1.00000xx values have to be removed manually.
