Intel’s 21.5% share plunge drags global chip stocks

Yep....

Most thought Intel was actually turning the corner and going to start climbing the charts but damn this quarter was absolutely disgusting, I really believe Intel becomes a buyout candidate.

Just shows you that no company is red hot forever....

Nvda will not be on top forever and don't be surprised when nvda peaks and starts its drop because absolutely no analysts or holder of this stock believes it. A gigantic drop in nvda is certainly going to happen once this ai hype nonsense fades....
 
It's not just the AI thing. Intel's latest chips have massive problems and data centers want to get rid of them. Crashing regularly is not acceptable and Intel hasn't promised a refund either. Unless Intel offers you something way below market prices, it's not worth it at all. From 2010 to 2020 they basically stopped innovating, dug their own grave.
 
I am an Intel guy but I feel like my grandfather who was a Ford guy. No matter how bad Fords got he just always got a Ford.
I just got a new laptop and of course got an INTC chip. I like it but the integrated video is almost surely a step down from AMD.
Seeing INTC at $20 is pretty incredible. I missed buying them at this range last time because there were other things to buy.
They will probably be a nice bargain at some price because it is not impossible they turn things around but I have no idea what that price is considering how bid up the chip sector is as a whole.
 
Intel have a major scandal on their hands right now they have not handled well. For decades since the '90s Pentium FDIV chip bug, Intel was considered the safest bet by IT departments. There are notes of Boeing in the handling of this new oxidising chip affair.

Virtually all of the 13th & 14th generation Core CPUs are faulty. Yes almost all of them. They slowly start to degrade and then one day they become paperweights. Nothing but BSODs upon startup. Currently Intel is admitting to the 65+ Watt TDP CPUs but what I heard is even the lower end chips will eventually fail.

Its easy to understand why Intel is firing so many people. I'm sure they are getting ready for all the lawsuits incoming. What a disaster of a company. If there wasn't a global sell off, AMD stock would be skyrocketing right now. Intel is like the old US western with the gang that couldn't shoot straight.

I heard that 12th generation chips are okay but who knows for sure. It could just be a delayed timebomb.
