It appears to be difficult for you. Yes it does, IF we prefer the simpler model of the universe. But if we prefer complexity, to serve some other purpose perhaps, say Divine hegemony, then we CAN say that the Earth is static and that the universe revolves around it. Think of it this way: we build a model of the universe and its movements as presently observed. We "grab" the Earth part, and hold it steady. What's the rest of the model do? It starts moving it a very "chaotic" way. Probably be kind of frightening to hold such a model, might yank your arm off. Still, it could be done.

You really don't get it? Imagine we construct a solid, working model of ONLY our solar system. Then imagine you grab the Earth, hold it steady. Now imagine what the rest of the model does, if it continues to operate and does not fall apart. Can you see it? The sun starts to orbit your hand, and the planets orbit the sun.

A "genuine fact of life" doesnt change, that you said, a prerequisite for a genuine fact-but the only continuous factor is change, even at the chemical level, you stated as much yourself, based on the inputs of atomic energy, the respective energetic entropy and other factors.
A constant state of quantum flux is the only constant, yet you claim no change of an observed "theory" should be taught as dogma in schools-when it is the only gauranteed, verifiable observation.
