Intelligent Design is not creationism

Quote from ZZZzzzzzzz:

If your conclusion was that I said technology was no good, you are indeed blinded by something that appears incurable...fully ripened with reactionary emotional baggage.
I think it would be fair to say after reading one of your soliloquies, there will invariably be only one conclusion to arrive at and it’s nothing to do with technology.

Of course it has to do with technology, how foolish of you or anyone else that reaches a similar conclusion...

Quote from stu:

"Pops out" . Over nearly 4 billion years? What on earth is your definition of a long time ?
Just how do you come to use that measure anyway shoe.? The same notion could suggest man with a brain will seem quite embarrassing compared to himself , never mind an IT subsystem, after another 4 billion years.

And from where do you imagine the equivalent singularity event along with the "VERY short time frame" of 14 billion years of 'accidents' to incorporate into this cherry bomb will become available?

You mean you would become a believer of natural accidents over super-natural accidents? I am not so sure.

With the ability to observe test examine vast numbers of those 'natural accidents' through science on earth , you still appear to prefer to believe in supernatural accidents..

Ones which you cannot know anything about, for as soon as you do, they become natural. As so many have over the ages.

Not trying to ignore you - getting killed in work and personal life. Will try to respond later...

Yes...something to do with who's running the asylum, as was previously alluded to.

We're all crucified one way or another.

Quote from ShoeshineBoy:

How could this happen? We can see the whole universe for all practical purposes.

There are no secrets...

The secret is, this is not the universe.

This universe is for blinding you from seeing the real universe.

This is top secret. Otherwise, this universe would be seen for what it is. And that would end it.

Jesus

Quote from ShoeshineBoy:

I couldn't disagree more. I think a screaming F16 is beautiful. Same thing with a fireworks display, Niagara and a Top Fuel Dragster. I also admire incredibly the technology that is behind the F16 and the Dragster. And Niagara: stay out of its way.

You're assuming heaven is all harps and Pinehurst and I'm not so sure about that one based on what I've seen...

Really? What do you base your opinion of heaven on?

As a "Christian", what then is your purpose?

The world began with a violent explosion. Hmm...

Violence begets violence.

Jesus

What's the purpose of this deception?

Quote from Turok:

Oh, you've got to be kidding. You can't get to be President without lying your ASS off (why Ron Paul won't win). You can't stay president without lying your ASS off. One of the last people I would trust regarding ANYTHING would be a politician -- the higher up, the less trust.
JB

The higher up the political hierarchy you go the more complex and inapplicable the truth becomes. Politicians have to say something and the truth is not anything anyone wants to hear or can understand; all that's left is simplistic misrepresentation.

Ron Paul's stand for the constitution is admirable but the simple truth is that his truth is too simple to work in a world as complex as ours has become.

This is not to say anybody else's truth will work.

The Constitution is both intelligently designed and continuously evolving. I guess that proves both are true.
