Quote from Roark:
Cool. I hate hollywood. All those well-paid arrogant pricks preaching about global warming while they fly around in their private jets and live in their huge mansions that consume 10 times the energy of the average household. It's about time they saw their income seriously reduced so they can start living like the rest of us.
Quote from Robert Weinstein:
I don't hate Hollywood as I know there are a lot of people that have to deal with the "royalty" (royal pains maybe).
Otherwise my thoughts exactly. So many of them are out of touch with what the average family, average business, and their children faces. Don't even get me started about state budgets
Their gift is the ability to entertain, and so many believe that somehow magically qualifies them to know the first thing about economics.
Every time I see an animation movie come out I think to myself "great, one more movie competing for movie ticket revenue that doesn't include five or more actors that believe socialism might be a good idea THIS time". Because as you know, this time things are different....
Quote from Hansel H:
Socialism works just fine in some countries. Has for a while now.
