Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 Wolfdale 3.0GHz

bought one from tigerdirect (everyoine else was out of stock). temps are fine, who cares about temp reporting if you know what you are doing. The E8400 was a better bargain that the E8500 with 3.16 speed. Since i water cooled this puppy i will be way above 3.1 anyway.......FEDEX non-union drivers could not get through the snow as the wussies missed my delivery date Friday of VISTA business so have to wait until Monday to finish the whole build. Started everything up and checked out super fine with old hard drive with XP pro on from other puter. New one will be a raid-o setup.

Microsoft immediately sent a dialog box saying i need to activate within 3 days because that copy of XP PRO has a few hardward changes.. NO shit Dick Tracy

YES, the E8400 was cheaper than putting in an E8550 65nm OLD chip. Glad i waited...........NEXT build will be a 32 nm chip in 2 years, might be FULLY retired then, really retired now but, trading, etc keeps the mind sharp and active. PC are fun to see how cheap and fast ya can make em.. :D

next week boys and girls...........LATER

I would not pay more that $900 for a TL-60.
The screen is good. Not many 1680x1050 around these days.
20" LCD ??? for a notebook?
120GB HDD ??? you are kidding.

My E8400 is Prime stable at 4.05GB (1.384V) on air, Thermalright Ultra 120 with Blue LED fan running at a silent 830 RPM

Does that help my trading? You bet, it gives me an enormous hard cock while trading

$1900

That is so overpriced for the kind of processor and specs on that machine, it isn't even funny.
