I would be very careful with Intel. Intel is being mistaken for a large cap tech stock (IBM, CSCO, etc). Intel is a large cap semi-conductor stock and not in the same league.

The $SOX appears to be at the top of its range and appears to have 20%+ downside from here.
The earnings results were neutral (and not strong). As more members of the $SOX come out to confess their earnings, Intel will most likely go down further.
Intel and AMD have now both confirmed that the sector is neutral at best and weak at worst. Not a buy
If I were to buy in tommorrow, I would wait until it hits the 50 day moving average and then cash out later in the day when the shorts appear to cover. I wouldnt buy for long-term until the stock double bottoms at 16.75.
