Instruments (Futures) for SHORT TERM trading (lower 5m)? (Suggestions)

i have a preselection of contracts right now... but i cannot trade all of them... the timeframe is too short...

6A, 6B, 6C, 6E, 6J
CL, NG
ES, NQ, YM
ZB, ZN, ZF, ZT
GC, SI
FDAX, FESX, FGBL, FGBM, FGBS
Z, TF, CAC40

i think of looking at the following a bit closer...

6B, 6E, 6J
CL
NQ, TF
GC
FDAX, Z, CAC40

i want to look at them in form of a range bar chart (about 4 ticks - not less) and a 2-5 minute tf chart...

did i forget any volatile and liquid contract for this kind of trading?

by the way... i was testing the currencies for almost 2 month... the tf is short so i think i got a feeling for it... however, i am into trading, TA and testing all kinds of stuff for 4-5 years... i moved from spot forex to future forex (and now also other instruments) because spot forex is - in my opinion - not suited for really short term trades..

how many ticks is your stop loss usually?


btw, any other future contracts recommendation for short term trading?

My stops are between 4 and 15 ticks, 20 is max.

I've only traded ES and CL, no other futures.
 
i am done researching and have a final watchlist...

forex:
6B $ 6,25

us stock indices:
NQ $ 5,-
YM $ 5,-

european stock indices
Z £ 5,-
CAC40 € 5,-


these are the only contracts i can afford to trade... (the value next to the contract is the tick value)

i think these contracts are liquid and volatile enough for short term trading...

does anyone know other cheap, liquid and volatile contracts for short term trading?

Usually volatility works for locals/MMs, not for retail traders unless you have impecable timing, which I doubt.
