Institute of Trading and Portfolio Management

...with Anton Kreil talking it up.

:wtf: No direct knowledge, just my reaction to the Anton Kreil name. I thought that BBC "documentary" {series??} was pretty cute, then heard all sorts of dubious follow-up, so....

I'd keep my eyes open.

1. Are there any restrictions on becoming an Institute Trader and opening my trading account with the Institute?
There is only one major restriction in becoming an Institute Trader. You must first complete either the Institutes Professional Trading Masterclass (PTM) Video Series and / or the Professional FOREX Trading Masterclass (PFTM) Video Series and pass at least one of the examinations; –

1 Month Access – $1,499
12 Months Access – $2,999

This sounds like a great deal -- for the "Institute" ;).

Just watch his Youtube videos which are quite entertaining. He does offer some good information about the industry. From what I have seen from various sources, the essence of his training is:

1. Formulate a thesis about a particular stock / sector / currency etc.
2. Use technical analysis to help with entries and exits.
2. Build a long/short portfolio based on your various theories.

I have been reading of some shady dealings with TradingSchools.org, too. Here's a good example -- two "complaints" cited by tradingschools.org -- both from RipOffReports -- BUT THAT'S IT. Hmmmmm. And when you go to read the complaints? Sorry, but Anton Kreil's version of things sounds a whole lot more truthful.

I'm not siding one way or the other, but these complaints are years old. Is that it? Not much of a scandal.

I was clicking around on Youtube and he was getting interviewed at some college in the UK, sounded legit. That tradingschools.org review is hilarious though, anybody who is doing the stereotypical ultra rich playboy thing as marketing is a tool though I didn't see any of that.

Some of their marketing:

They will save you money:

4. Independent Track Record Verification and Confirmation by the Institute
At the Institute we manage your Track Record for you. The cost of doing this independently yourself with an auditor on an annual basis would run into the tens of thousands of dollars. At the Institute we do this for you for free, just for being part of the Institute Community as an Institute Trader.
but avoid publishing any track record of their own trading.

I Think that 3000$ are way too much ..
But it really depends on how much you trust the strategy and the process, mainly 90% of who bought that courses never finished them completely, and only a 0,05% have even studied it so far to be profitable as i did!
I 've spent more than 11 months working and studing only this every weekend for 6h a day ,and was like a mania for me !
And even if i spent on it a damn year of hard work, literally worth every single second !
And when my % of winning trades and my account did a damn x40 sqweeze.
So if you are studing the strategy don't give up !
I know...
Are super boring Anton's courses and he is such an asshole in real life,
But really knows what he is teaching !
