Insider-Trading Ban for U.S. Congress Gains Support

It's not the actual politicians that are directly trading.
It's their staff and authorized agents who are also granted this same exemption. These are the weasels who make the plays based on inside information. Bar all members of congress AND their staff and agents from engaging in insider-trading.

I thought that goes without saying, to me personally if it's illegal for me it should be illegal for everyone.

This is just another example of our runaway congress constantly showering themselves with taxpayer funded perks and privileges. We the people need to stand up to these crooks and stop treating them like royalty.
