Our stats have been posted, but it's roughly like this.....about half make it through the first year (vs. 10% of overall business ventures, not bad), and we have about 70 percent successful in year 2, 80% year 3, etc. We have our original traders from 10 years ago....

And just how many traders of "our" original traders would that be? Bob Bright, and who else? You are including Bob Bright in that figure of original traders, aren't you?
 
Don, what did you do to deserve this guy's attention??

He needs to 'get a life', obviously he can't trade worth a hoot!!

I made some substantive comments that deserve a minimum of attnetion here.

If there is a mederator on the stick here, lets see how you get on it as well.

This post is a comment on the quality of the series of posts here. Don is screwing away his time on fluff and not taking care of business.
 
When you joined ET, where did it claim that Don is here to hold your hand or answer all of you questions to you satisfaction?? Free advice is just that, free. I think you'd do well to take what you can get.

Just keep reposting the question. Also post it in Don's journal thread. Stick with it until you get an answer to your question. Ignore those who criticize you for asking questions.

Nowhere.

His remarks to me so far have been trite and flip.

Most of his posts to others as read by a newbie like me seem to be kind of defensive and manipulative.

I know the moderators here do their thing.

Within a couple of days of showing up I replied to a post that was unsettleing to me and the moderator removed my post.

That can further tell you how marginal my comments are and their value.

I'm sure Don is a super guy and is just like your calibre as well.

I don't expect much of Don based on his performance in this thread.

Lastly I didn't have any Qs in my post. I was commenting to try to improve what turned out, as described, as poor and unmanaged.

I'm not a hand holding type. You view of me as such a person is your business not mine.

I'm not a cool person all things considered.

If Don continues apcae that is certainly his perrogative. as a small business runner being a front man for his band, I'm sure he has to make a lot of trade offs. The 777 thing is one of those he holds as a high priority and it sets the level of how he operates.

If you look at Don's #1 Job at Bright comprising the tasks of marketing, sales, recruiting, and PR, then anyone who questions the practices of him or his firm do take priority over your quesitons or comments.

It is his job to respond to me, it is not his job to respond to you. He could simply ignore me, but he has to respond, as a potential Bright Trader reading this thread or other threads is going to wonder about the questions or comments, they will wonder if there is any truth or basis to them in fact.

He may say he is in it to help and educate people, and that may be true, but that is not his job function, not job 1.

That's alright Don, cause I sure as heck don't know what the hell Jack talks about either in each of his posts.:cool:
 
There seems to be a lot of controversy about Bright Trading. I have been an active trader for 2 years and recently attended the Bright Trading Course in Las Vegas last week. I am very critical, but I have to say the entire staff is First Class. Although, I would be the first to say the material presented is better suited for more experienced traders. It is a family run business and that to me says a lot in and of itself. I dont see many proprietary trading firms out there that are family run...HMMMMM? They are the most down to earth people I have ever met. While I was there I stood next to both Don and Bob and watched them trade 10000 lots while holding a casual conversation. You have to love that:) These guys are top notch. I had a lot of fun and intend on joining the firm.

And just how many traders of "our" original traders would that be? Bob Bright, and who else? You are including Bob Bright in that figure of original traders, aren't you? Were the origonal traders professional experienced traders already, or were they unexperienced traders who were trained by Bright Trading?
