Since the dawn of capitalism, business people have cut out the middleman to gain a price advantage over the competition. Today, San Mateo startup Reali is putting a high-tech twist on this strategy with a real estate app thatremoves the buyers’ agentfrom the home-purchasing process.(Crain's San Francisco)

In the high-priced areas, this app should be able to attract a lot of clients. I would imagine the seller's agent might also be removed in the future. Real estate agent profession will be hit hard.

It's ridiculous that sellers are held hostage to 5 and 6 percent selling fees ....which might be 10,000, 15, 000, 20,000 to sell a home in 6-8 weeks when all the agent does is submit some jpeg photos on their website.

On a side note......I was shopping at Kroger last week and you have to use their ridiculous loyalty card to get the sale prices.

Why don't retailers like Target and Kroger create an app that will automatically deduct all the manufacturer coupons as well as all the sale items they have on their loyalty cards and Target Cartwheel?

Show your app at the register, let them scan it ......and you get the discounted price on 1000 potential items without any effort. Too easy.
