Inflation out of control

Quote from kashirin:

what I can say you if you're retarded?

do you know what this word means?
Your IQ level is lower than 3 year old child and even a pig has IQ higher

haha

with your fucked up farsi style english, you are actually playing that childish game

do you realize you are in a trading forum posting under economics, would you mind telling us the net worth of your countries main stock exchange? hardly in the billions, right?

oh and by the way, what is it with pigs, you know all this obsession muslims have over pigs, i mean they don't eat it cause fucking allah forbids it, but why the fuck they always talk about pigs?

piezoe, I have nothing against these people. I have employed them over the years and they are great workers and I have had very little problem on a cultural basis. They are a big part of our economy as well as our standard of living.

I was responding to the guy thinking doing a way with the war was going to solve inflation.

It is our system as it applies to illegal immigration which I take issue. It is a system which is flawed and Ted Kennedy was the father of it. I fault both political parties for allowing such a flawed system to continue to exist.

Bacon is tasty I guess :D

Quote from LT701:

perhaps nothing is more STUPID than the ethanol craze, and i say this as someone who has had a windfall on farmland because of it

the marginal increase in motor fuel is very small once you subtract tractor deisel fuel to plant the corn, and all the fuel in transportation

and the fuel savings are GONE on a weekend shopping trip, because whater tiny savings you got at the pump are blown away at the grocery store, since you turned the grain into fuel (instead of animal feed) to drive the bloated SUV the soccor mom bitch 'just gotta have'

it just doesnt get any dumber

i remember in horror 10 years ago, looking at the 2 chevy suburbans in every driveway in the area i was working in, the only vehicle basically unchanged from 1973, and the biggest gas guzzler of that time thinking 'here we go again'

and here we are

welcome back to the 1970s, stupid f-cks of America

Indeed, All except midwest corn farmers, of course, agree that raising corn to produce ethanol is a horrible idea. Ethanol from sugar cane makes some sense, but not from corn.

Quote from thesharpone:

look at the countries you listed, except for Japan, all the rest you stated by name are fucking poor countries, with fucking stupid, no seriously retarded people who run the government

for that specific reason (that they are poor and pathetic) they are not like us, and never will be

i am betting you are from iraq/n (same shit, similar names, similar languages), but which ever one of these cheap countries you come from, get over it; you are the lesser beings

"Thesharpone" :D :) :D :) :D

I understand, and to some extent agree..

Quote from AK100:

Here's an inflation busting car to counter all the US guzzlers.

The new Volkswagen Polo Bluemotion

70 miles to the gallon. Reckon it will be a BIG seller and should hold its price on the 2nd hand market very well.

If you currently drive a big car and have plenty of money then why not buy this to take the kids to school and run quick errands around town?

Coming to the UK in the summer, donj't know about the US but I would expect to see a trend of these styles of cars over the next several years (all over the world).

http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/carreviews/firstdrives/206519/volkswagen_polo.html

Love the car but here in the US there are 5 problems with this car.
1. It is a Diesel - most mechanics do not have experience fixing it.
2. It is a Diesel - cannot be purchased in Cali, NY and several other states.
3. It is a Diesel - last time I checked a gallon of diesel in NY was around $5 a gallon.
4. Size - too small for the US
5. Price - they got to be joking me with that price tag. 24K - I can get a regular 4 banger and have 10K for gas for the next 5 years.
