Inflation, 2018

I think inflation exist to keep the people under control through a wealth gap.

Inflation is needed for growth and to make up for interest rate and tight labour.

Interest rate and inflation can not exist without each other.
The reason why banks have interest rate, is to recover time value lost through inflation. That is how banks make most of their money. Without inflation, how would the justify charging rate?

The current monetary system is based on growth, inflation and rates, which need debt to exist. Perfect sense if you are a bank.

So that is why we need inflation for what I understand... and rate... and poverty.
Without banks you and I wouldn't be having this conversation about banks on the internet, we'd both be sitting in unheated/air conditioned mud huts slapping at fleas and worrying about the bubonic plague, like people did back before we had silly things like banks and financial systems.

I just observed what seem obvious to me about the need of inflation, as I like to follow rates for market cycles.
Yours is a closed mind hypothesis made in hindsight, which won't change my opinion on banks and debt.

A "closed mind hypothesis made in hindsight". From someone of your clear foresight and open mind I'm hurt, just hurt. Welcome to the forum. A little advice, maybe your second post isn't the best place to start with the ad hominem attacks? If, with all that foresight and open mindedness, you have an explanation of how modern economies would work without interest based lending, I'm all ears. That's called open mindedness, by the way, I offer to listen to your position instead of discounting it out of hand like your "open minded" self just did.
