Price predicts it's own future, (when you know what to look for)
but so does cyclic volume analysis, especially with crude oil.

This gentleman's work is also still predictive.

The biggest number of indicators are lagging behind the price, so I don't think they can help you to predict whether it will be a breakthrough or a pullback from the level.
In such cases I advise to apply for volumes, when there's orders' cluster then there likely be a breakthrough, but also you should take into economic macroeconomic data.
