Index futures timing

MoveTimer,
in order to calculate future turning points from historical data mathematically...how do you transform the market data into a mathematical function ? Just wondering what the name of this method is...

I filter historical data and choose some sampled points which are important for modelling. This method hasn't the name because it's my proprietary tool.

Today everything clicked. I placed a vertical line on each time, and when the time was established, I placed an horizontal line there. Very clear cut day today.
