Most people will scoff at what you say as nonsense but what I saw last week with all the program trades jamming the futures late in the day and in premarket and between 4:00 and 4:15 pm show me that a big player or players were pushing the market higher and forcing sentiment to change by buying futures late in the day and making pretty charts in the process.

These programs get unwound once all the dumb money feels like it safe to buy again (of course at higher prices than the previous days) and create enough buy volume for the program buyer that bought a ton of S&P futures to unload slowly into that strength and sentiment change he created. The rumors in the middle of the day, blue horseshoe type nonsense, about a possible Fed ease intrameeting (who believes this garbage?) on Thursday leading to an intraday reversal were all part of the game.

Markets don't just go where they want to go, they are moved.
