Incredibly Bearish: Retailers Running Out of In-Home Vaults/Safes

Nobody lifts from the boss. He could leave it on his front porch and it would be safe from all but the feds.

Quote from Ticketwatcher:

Tony Soprano did not have any safes. He put his cash in the duck feed by the pool, and not a bad place to put it if you are not cheating on your wife.

Crooked congressman don't have any safes either, that Jefferson guy from LA put his money in foil in the freezer.

and then he blows your brains out because he isn't happy with $500

Quote from AK100:

Always a good idea to have 2 safes.

Put $500 and some worthless jewellry in one and the other safe has all the main loot.

Then when some intruder sticks a gun in your face asking where the safe is you point him to the wrong one.

you need to put in more than $500. it has to be enough to be convincing, because no one is gonna get a $400 safe just to protect $500 in assets.

Quote from Ticketwatcher:

Christopher Ryan, a chiropractor in Waterloo, N.Y., already owns three safes and plans to buy a fourth safe to store cash he's saving for a boat.
To allow yourself to be quoted in a publication on this subject, is almost like advertising that you would like to be robbed.

That's exactly what I was thinking.

Perhaps fill it with fake diamonds, replica gold bars, a fake rolex etc.
