It's insane. The markets are WAY over reacting. Worst case scenario, everyone in the US gets covid-19 and 1% of the population dies or 3.3 million people(most of them very old, retired and were probably going to die within a few years anyway) How will those 1% really affect the economy? Certainly not the near 30% the market is already priced in for.

Look at Italy there 6weeks in, 3-4weeks ahead of the UK, there having to let people die and choose who has the best chance of surviving already, death rate is 8% currently and climbing, they have more beds and ventilators then the UK!

UK is running Delay, to slow the spread down to manageable levels, but there not trying that hard, they want it to burn out, ie everyone gets it over the next 6months and business as normal it's better than 3months without delay, but not much.
