You need to give it longer then a week . I would say give it till this date next month. A week is nothing, its like a first date, if you want to make money in the long term you got to take time and to get to know her!

please, let's start with a week...at least to end of day next friday (ps-knowing me, I'll get hooked and stick with Gold, which is what I really do want)....please more people, second, third, fourth motions and we will do it!

I agree with gold being a fine choice. Start with the mini, 1 contract. Then after a month of profitable trading you can earn your right to move up to 2 lots. But this should be all specified in a trading plan, you do have a trading plan right? If not stop trading take a week and make one.

Knowing you , you will get hooked and stay with gold you say? Knowing you from your past 2 years of posts you will lose money once and pick something else, thats your M.O. Your kidding yourself by thinking a week is going to tell you anything. So by next friday you are not profitable, are you gonna discard gold and try something else? Thats a quitter and quitters dont succeed. Every loss if studied properly and excuted within your trading plan, will bring you that much closer to being profitable. You need to figure out why you lose, are you breaking rules you have written down, or you just have no idea and take a loss when it feels like its to much? I wouldnt second yuor motion until you take this serioulsy. I wanna help people out but you make it hard becuase you really do not listen to anyone. Thats why you are here for 2 years asking the same stuff. There is no grail or magic futures contract, learn to trade with in the context of looking at price action and you can trade anything. But first you must learn.

noting here...made +8.7 points trading mini-gold this past week...now, we begin afresh at level ground....

$0 zero and no trades...reasy to rock it!!...trading Gold futures!
 
Shall the moderators require a quick snippet of each day's execution report next week to 'prove' that ONLY gold was traded? hmmmm....perhaps this would be wise. The peanut gallery doesn't want to be played for a fool now.
