I traded a bunch of phantom setups this morning and it cost me over $200. Patience, patience..

Too bad about the gold trade increasenow, just keep to your plan and don't let these losers get in your way.

IN, Oanda offers gold trading at $0.10 per tick. I like to use them to test fx and metals strategies with real money w/o risking a lot. I'll imagine you're going to see a lot of $100 stop-outs on this account. Why not build a methodology with real funds, that you can afford to lose w/o being scared out of a trade.

I don't think it's feasible to trade GC at a $100 stop. Euro at less than a pip spread and spot gold is competitive.

Yep its being going nowhere. CL and 6E are what Ive had my sights on lately. Some appreciable moves that set up nicely.

I dont either, unless you are a gold badass and have perfect entries every time. You are going to take some heat trading GC, I dont care to trade it myself.

I think I simply gotta get away from the larger contracts for now...meaning Gold and CL...man,this hurt today...do not like it at all!
