I didnt post that chart just to show off. Your homework assignment is to tell me why I took that trade and why I chose those profit targets. There was nothing random about any of it.

You might need to pull up your own chart to see things a little easier.

That was May Soybeans, 5minute chart with a 21ema(I didnt really use the ma for anything in this case, just sayin..thats what you are seeing on there).

Hey just realized I made a typo if anyone was confused when I said I tightened my stop to 944.50 .

The first time I moved my stop was to 945.50 NOT 942.50, then on to 944.50. Inital stop for the trade was 950.25. Never had a stop at 942.50.

Slipped up typing during the live trade, sorry.
 
just got hit hard again by Sugar...lost $146.00...not fun...should have known it was forming a double bottom and not short it...oh well...back to the trading drawing board!!!

total loss for day $146.00 in 2 Sugar trades...
 
No worries, your account has 'plenty' remember? Keep plugging away, you'll get it eventually.

If a double bottom is forming wait to see if it breaks before you sell. You should have been thinking long when you saw the potential double bottom. Cmon man.

hey, if you cats were going to trade the 10YR during RTH with only 1 contract...what would you set as a realistic 'can feel good about' profit target?...considering one tick is $15.00...

5,10 points out?...does not move much more than that...OR...would you enter at night US time and set a 10-20 point target?
