IncreaseNow's "Sell/Short" Futures Journal

Quote from TrueProp:

This is the worst thread I've ever seen. I read the first 25 pages of this thread and they consisted of about 3 or 4 total trades. You constantly ask the same questions over and over again seemingly never to actually do any real research on your own to arrive at a conclusion. Instead you ask other people's opinions about volume, bollinger bands and everything else that you can think of. No trader serious about succeeding would do that.

New traders are supposed to ask questions. But the onus is upon the trader to ask good questions. Then, the most important part is to actually take action. It seems like you live on the simulator. It also seems like there were a lot of traders willing to offer you advice, but all you said to them was "thanks", while not bothering to implement any of their advice.

Do you ever plan to commit to something and actually learn it instead of jumping from product to product?
thanks for the post...yes, totally listening to and putting into practice much of what is shared..take the best and leave the rest...yes trading live and real now...trading futures...as for different products...yes, but any expert jumps back and forth before they find their specialty...please share your insight and what do you trade??

But you were the one that ran away and didn't post for a week when someone asked to see your platform or charts.. basically shown up as a liar and someone that trolls a trading chat site but never trades.. pretty embarrassing stuff
I officially invite and ask Fireplace to post real trades, charts and p&l blotter...you are welcome here! FP!!!

Any expert jumps back and forth before they find their specialty? Don't you mean any novice jumps back and forth before they find their specialty? If you don't commit to something long enough, whether it be a trading product, an indicator, a trading style, or a trading strategy you'll end up never giving anything a chance to work. You will be elated when it seems it works, but at the first sign of trouble you will abandon it and move on to something else without ever learning the intricacies of that particular indicator or product or whatever. You should pick something, probably one futures contract, maybe add 1-2 indicators max, and watch the same thing everyday. Screen time is irrelevant if you're looking at 10 different things and you're always changing things. I think that's called wasting time.

I trade equities. I've never traded a futures contract and I probably never will.

you know TP...I totally agree with you...heading that way...ps--you need to trade Futures, once you do, you will never want to trade boring stocks again...

If I wanted to go through the trouble of doing any or all of that I would have started my OWN journal!

:p

Time to 'get a clue' Inow

I trade for money and not for excitement. Stocks make more sense to me because there are thousands of stocks everyday that have potential to move. Even on the slowest, most least volatile days of the year there are good opportunities to make money in the stock market. For futures, if your product(s) aren't moving then you have no opportunity to make money. Stocks make more sense to me.

Either way, the product that you trade is irrelevant if you do not make money.

What is your style of trading?
What is your strategy?
Do you have a full-time job?
Are you able to watch the markets that you're trying to learn how to trade all day?
How long have you been trying to become a professional trader?
Are you appropriately capitalized?

TrueProp, don't even bother. He will just lead you in circles with his answers. He isn't real, he's just some alias of some other user created merely for his perverse pleasure.

People are strange!

:)
