incompetants at Ameritrade still streaming BADLY LAGGED L2

Quote from GTC:

With QT (QuoteTracker), you can get <1min. chart with multiple data feed options. QT has free registration for Ameritrade since it was bought by Ameritrade. You can also get TotalView.

Exactly.

And, if you are concerned about data-feed "latency" issues with Ameritrade's "streamer" into QuoteTracker, simply find another data-feed provider. For example, you can get DTN's "IQFeed" piped into QuoteTracker for <$100 per month, and still clear the trades thru your TD Ameritrade account.

The charting capability of QuoteTracker is pretty damn impressive, and I believe that they get a bit of a discount from "IQFeed" as well.

Just an idea.

Quote from stock777:

The L2 lag problem seems to have finally been fixed.

As I mentioned earlier, you can always use another data-feed such as DTN's "IQFeed".

If you are using in conjunction with QuoteTracker, DTN will waive the $50 initial start-up fee, and then they cut the monthly subscription fee by $20 per month.

You can literally get Nasdaq Level-II and NYSE quotes for a total of $58.00 per month.

One significant issue with DTN's quote feed is that they DO NOT SUPPORT NYSE and AMEX Level-2, believe it or not.

Something to keep in mind.
