In today's fantasy - Democrats think they can win Senate seat in Alabama

Sure

Russian-funded Facebook ads backed Stein, Sanders and Trump

100k worth of facebook ads vs hillary spending 1 billion dollars, literally 1/10,000th of what Hillary spent, but yeah that was the difference. LOL. And im sure there was no other countries that tried putting their thumbs on the scale in the election only russia.

Hate to break it to you, but every single person in every country in the world watches and weighs in on U.S. politics, that was basically the only thing i saw on my feed on facebook for months, and im in Canada.

LOL! You are soooo reaching with this. ONE facebook ad for Stein and politico says that was the ad that was enough to swing the election for Trump. Hillary spent over $1 billion dollars on her campaign but $100k on facebook ads(that you sure as hell know nobody ever pays attention to) and only ONE of those ads, that maybe a few hundred dollars was spent on and that was enough to swing the billion dollar election Trumps way?

Come on...be honest...do you really believe this? I mean you're just trolling me now, right?

LOL, i was responding with the same thing at the same time, these guys are insane. Cant wait till Trump Pardons Assange and makes these clowns on the left eat their words. If the Russian government was really colluding with Trump they would have put a hell of alot more behind it than 100k, that would have bought them like 1 ticket to a Hillary Clinton Fundraising dinner.

Democrats think they can win Senate seat in Alabama. In other news Hurricane hits North Dakota, Bill Clinton stops hitting on women, Al Gore becomes a climate denier, and Tony Stark outs himself as a conservative.

National Democrats eye shot at Alabama upset
Attorney Doug Jones sets up a perfect contrast with Republican Moore, Democrats say. But the odds of victory are long.

I don't think democrats can win this seat. The incredibly racist people from one of the most racist southern confederate states isn't likely to vote for a candidate of The Union party.I am glad Moore won.Strange was a reliable vote for Trump on every issue Trump supported,Moore is not.I support Freedom Caucus /Rand Paul types when a democrat cant win a reliable republican seat.

First, this is not the only money Trump campaign spent, lot of it was dark money (Cambridge Analytica for example)

Second, this 100k spending is the only one we know of NOW after a year, there must be a lot more.

Not every person has to be on facebook to influence a close election, a margin of 10000 votes made a big difference.

Russian-bought Black Lives Matter ad on Facebook targeted Baltimore and Ferguson
http://money.cnn.com/2017/09/27/media/facebook-black-lives-matter-targeting/index.html

"The Black Lives Matter ad appeared on Facebook at some point in late 2015 or early 2016, the sources said. The sources said it appears the ad was meant to appear both as supporting Black Lives Matter but also could be seen as portraying the group as threatening to some residents of Baltimore and Ferguson."

So basically what we can currently observe on Twitter. Lots of buzzwords and primer pictures to trigger the right by playing into the stereotypes that they have built up in their minds.

Right, like this is the only campaign spending they did, Russia spent 200 million on top of what Trump spent and his dark money buddy Spencer did. I am sure these tight wads just love to waste money for no good reason.

At some point you have to believe that the Russian social media campaign was simply aimed at causing division & conflict within American society in an attempt to tear our country apart rather than being aimed as getting any particular candidate elected to office.

So why didn't they run attacking Trump to cause division among them? Why was he left out of this smear campaign as if his base didn't matter?

Probably. Like their version of Radio Free America.

They were probably just as surprised as we were that Trump won.
