say what you want. if you were trading all day, this morning you should have come out with atleast 10 points using the simple trendline trades.

skeptics never stop. keep saying it doesnt work and keep wasting your time.
 
When trading using trend lines or any other system or strategy you have to watch closely the market internals. The cash markets, ETF's and Eminis not converging today. They are divergent. keep a simple quote window open to help you with this. Watch their ranges etc.

today was a day when you had to be quick to take small point winners. that will only come with experience.

This thread has been great so far, keep it up.... Not sure what it has been about the thread, but something clicked that got me on a great path to actually automating a price action strategy using no indicators.. which is a big step for me, since coding to see price action has always been really tough for me....

Don't know if the strategy will be profitable or not, but its identifying the PA patterns I wanted it to see...
 
There were trends today they were just smaller than you might expect. Drawing trendlines I have also been drawing horizontal S/R lines as soon as I see the movement start to go sideways and it looks like there was previous S/R. Once this is broken a trade in the direction of the break worked well today.
