Many believe the US Army Corps of Engineers dropped seven bombs to blow out a levee to deliberately kill poor black people in New Orleans.

That's why they didn't fix the levees... 20 feet of water. Gators. People dying in water. They let the parishes go, not the city center. Tourist trap was saved over human life. “These people weren’t killed by Arab terrorists. You’ve been lied to!” shouted a woman who looked vaguely like Joey Ramone, holding up one end of a banner that read, “9-11 World Trade Center: Controlled Demolition.” Her name was Lisa Giuliani and she broadcasts her theories though a Pennsylvania grassroots video collective called Wing TV.

She lectured about how only a series of controlled explosions could have so rapidly pancaked the twin towers. “There’s no way jet fuel could have melted all that steel. It was a freefall. The concrete was so thoroughly pulverized, Manhattan was blanketed in dust. Think about it,” she urged. “Do your homework, please!”

Her message played about as badly as could be expected. “I was there, so shut the f*ck up. You don’t know what you’re talking about,” snapped an enraged firefighter in fatigues, stalking off into the crowd.

“You shouldn’t be here. Have some respect,” another firefighter shouted.

“It’s a crime scene,” Lisa Giuliani shot back. “We honor them with the truth. Al Qaeda is a concept. This is state-sponsored terrorism.”

The clamor was all too much for a passing tourist. “God bless America, you bitch!” he screamed in a thick accent.

“Go back to where you came from, you foreigner,” groused a fellow conspiracist.

“But I am French,” the tourist responded indignantly.

There is no question these people are morons. What interests me is how they got that way.

Perhaps that's what a diet of "multiculturalism" and a lifetime loathing of anything white, Christian or Capitalist does to a person: You just become unable to comprehend your cute little pet minorities ever being to blame for anything. Then when you're left with a scene of utter devastation, like 9.11, your mind has to construct "alternative" scenarios that place the blame squarely where it "belongs" - on whites, christians or capitalists. Concepts like "evidence" start to become rather vague, it's more important to "search" for answers where you know the answers are "supposed" to lie - in whites, christians or capitalists. It's kind of like the psychologists who used to assume every psychological problem was related to sexual abuse suffered as a child: conflicting evidence was diminished or simply outright ignored, they just assumed sexual abuse had to be there. Modern moonbats assume whites, christians or capitalists simply must be at fault.

Folks see what they want to see. Witness the folks who think socialism rocks after all the failures. Take Germany for instance, split it in half, one side communist, one side (more or less) free. One side rocks, the other side folks die trying to flee.

But that doesn't shake the socialists. Failure after failure, corpses piled millions upon millions upon millions high, if only we had billions of corpse we'd have the perfect system. If only we butchered trillions of people, we'd be OK. There is no limit to their demand for blood, they will never admit defeat no matter how high the death toll grows.

North Korea/South Korea, where'd you rather live? If yer a lib, you'd enjoy the worker's paradise of North Korea, or so you'd claim. Or how about Cuba? Libs would rather gripe about water being poured over the heads of terrorists in Gitmo, and ignore all the people who lose their lives trying to flee Cuba. Not to mention the real gulags in Cuba. But hey, Castro's a nice guy. He doesn't want to torture dissidents, it's required by law.

Naw, freedom sucks. Much better to be a ward of the state. All that decision making, what if you make the wrong call? Yer screwed! Much better to have a corrupt and incompetent government make all your decisions for you. Then you can sit back, enjoy the ride and bitch about the government. None of it is your fault. What a joy.
