This is because OurWorldinData has switched over to "date of report" in their chart rather than date of death.... because they did not want to have to manually match up the date-of-death information when they switched to using John Hopkins rather than the European CDC. The information about this is provided at the url below.
"Unlike our previous source the European CDC, Johns Hopkins University collects and publishes COVID-19 deaths in Sweden by date of report."

This is why your chart is showing zero on days when there is not report and jumps up & down greatly.
Germany however is reporting seven days per week.... so you are not comparing similar data in your chart. It's apples and oranges.
