Sweden is done with the "no lockdown" era -- passes laws allowing the federal government to shut down businesses, shopping malls, leisure and entertainment venues and public transports. "Those who violate restrictions that limit access to public places can be sentenced to a monetary fine," Health Minister Lena Hallengren said in a press conference.

Reading the news at the above link...the below quote stands out to me.
...As of now, all public and private gatherings are allowed to have a maximum of eight members only. The government also urged citizens to maintain social distance and wear face masks while stepping out. This is the first time such an order has been issued as the government always believed the COVID-19 measures should be "a marathon, not a sprint"...
- How do governments and health officials determine a number 8, 10, 20 or whatever for max in social gathering situation ???
Then again, I haven't been looking that hard because its nice to see Sweden finally taking Covid-19 very serious to protect their citizens without needing to shut down the entire economy.
- Hopefully this is as bad as it will get for Sweden until about 60% - 70% of their population is vaccinated for vaccinated herd immunity.
