But, when you live in a colder climate you can't afford to be so stupid as to think hiding the low risk group from the virus in the warm weather months is a good idea. The virus did not go away..

Canada "exploding with COVID" LOL
There are individual states with more daily COVID cases than the entire country of Canada each day.

Are cases rising in Canada? Yes.
Are they taking proper public health precautions due to the rise? Yes.

For example, they locked down areas of Quebec again in a targeted lockdown.

Maybe the U.S. needs to start having a national level COVID plan and taking proper mitigations measures when cases rise in a state.

The data indicates even our worst Covid numbers are twice as good as US numbers. So I guess that makes you twice as irresponsible and stupid as Canadians using your logic. And that's on the worst data for Canada. If we look back over the last few months, the numbers are horrendous in parts of the US including California.

The second wave hit Toronto. Is it worse then say San Diego County ? Not what the data shows. But you go ahead say Covid is "exploding" in Canada but whine about restrictions in San Diego. Your rhetoric is incredibly stupid.

Already Stockholm and Sweden are planning further mitigation measures and may take-up full lockdowns by region.
