As Bill Gates said: "I don't think any country is going to get an "A" in how they responded when this is over."

Some of these countries go through a period where they get uppity and the lefties like to crow about how much better they are than U.S. but then they get humbled over time.

I have seen Canadians here and elsewhere try to do what they do which is to take all developments and show that the Canadians are superior to their neanderthal neighbors to the south. So, right on schedule we had some crowing here and elsewhere about how superior Canada has been, when in fact the timing of the spread just differed.

But check back today and tell me how it is going but compare Canada to California rather than the U.S. The populations are roughly similar, maybe Cali a couple million or so more. And last I looked, Canada had surpassed about 800 corona deaths, and Calif was maybe fifty fewer, or so. These are moving numbers so I dont know what today looks like. And Cali seems to be getting toppy and flat whereas Canada is still on the upcurve. Probably that is why we have not heard the Canadians trying to go down that uppity road for a while. Could still be some that try to do per capita comparisons in Manitoba to New York City or something - a losers game.

Canada has dealt with the virus far better then the US on every objective level including the level of panic. I know you are generally challenged to do basic math but Canada's death rate remains far lower then what is occurring in the US, despite the US continuing to have the most expensive health care on the planet.

Spin it all you want it's as dumb as thinking Canada's all about maple syrup. No shortage of dumb content from you it's all you know.

How can you have so much faith in your model when it over estimated deaths and need for beds so dramatically.

Surely you must understand either your side had no idea about how many people had been exposed and how immunity is building or the RO for healthy people was really over estimated or a some combination.

As I said in the beginning it was all guesswork and bullshit if you don't know how many people have been exposed.

To support this country wide ban there should have been hundreds of tests run around the country like the test fox news showed about Chelsea or the test the Stanford academic did in Santa Clara and the results it should have been shared.

Would it have been so hard to go out and test a thousand random of people in different areas... each state and each city should have been running such tests and sharing the data... daily.

I will tell you why the media was not/ is not currently demanding it from each Governor and each mayor of each decent sized city.

Because we know that most likely the results will not support the narrative.

Frankly its a complete fucking indictment of our press and our govts that we are not doing these studies right now. Trump needs to be smart enough to demand this too.

The raw figures from Sweden do not support the health minister's assertions. Unless he provides the "claimed" models supporting his herd immunity assertions then he is merely spouting propaganda from the government line trying to defend their failed and dangerous policy.
